FAQ
Do I need a 4×4 for La Soufrière?
No. The road up to the Bains Jaunes car park is paved. Normal ground clearance is plenty.
Is the Route de la Traversée drivable?
Yes, it is well maintained. It is simply winding: allow an hour between the two coasts.
